Vertical Clamping Horizontal Injection Molding Machine

Vertical Clamping Horizontal Injection Molding Machine Manufacturer

We manufacture vertical injection molding equipment for insert molding and overmolding applications. The vertical clamping structure provides direct access to the lower mold for insert placement, while the horizontal injection unit introduces material from the side. This configuration supports products with metal inserts, terminals, cables, connectors and larger or more complex mold layouts. Production covers machining, fabrication, assembly, commissioning and inspection, with machine selection, installation guidance, operator training and after-sales support available for overseas projects.

Why Choose Us

Vertical Molding Expertise

Our product range is focused on vertical injection molding, including fixed-table, slide-table, rotary-table and vertical clamping horizontal injection configurations. The equipment is developed around insert molding and overmolding production requirements.

Manufacturing Control

Production includes CNC machining, fabrication, welding, surface treatment, mechanical assembly and machine commissioning. Inspection and functional testing are carried out during production and before shipment.

Application-Based Selection

Machine selection is based on the actual part, insert, material, mold dimensions and production requirements. This provides a practical basis for selecting clamping force, injection capacity, table configuration and automation.

Overseas Technical Support

Support covers application review, technical confirmation, installation guidance, commissioning, operator training and after-sales service for overseas machine projects.

Key Machine Advantages

Large-Shot Vertical Clamping Machine

Direct Mold Access

The vertical mold layout keeps the lower mold accessible during insert loading. This is useful for positioning terminals, pins, bushings, threaded inserts, cables and stamped components.

Side Injection

The horizontal injection unit separates the injection direction from the vertical clamping movement. This provides additional flexibility for mold gating, injection position and machine layout.

Flexible Table Options

Fixed, single-slide and double-slide configurations can be selected according to the loading method, part removal process and required production sequence.

Integrated Part Production

Plastic can be molded directly around an insert during one molding cycle. This supports integrated components where the insert and molded plastic need to form one finished assembly.

High Shot-Capacity Vertical Molding Machine

Applications

Electrical & Connector Parts

Suitable for terminals, connectors, pin assemblies, plugs and electrical components requiring controlled insert positioning.

Cable & Wire Overmolding

The accessible lower mold supports cable and wire positioning before mold closing, making the configuration suitable for connector and strain-relief applications.

Metal Insert Components

Applications include bushings, pins, threaded inserts and stamped metal parts combined with thermoplastic material.

Industrial Components

Suitable for sensors, functional housings and industrial components where an insert needs to be molded into the finished part.

Machine Configuration Options

Fixed Table: The lower mold remains in position during loading and unloading. This configuration suits production where direct operator access is sufficient.

Single Slide Table: The lower mold slides outward for insert loading and part removal. This provides a clear working area for manual handling or automated equipment.

Double Slide Table: Two lower mold stations alternate between molding and loading. While one station is in the molding cycle, the other can be prepared for the next cycle.

Customized Configuration: Slide stroke, clamping force and other machine configuration details can be reviewed according to mold dimensions, insert loading and production requirements.

Working Principle & Machine Structure

Insert Loading: The insert is positioned on the lower mold before the molding cycle. Fixtures or automated handling equipment can be used where repeatable positioning is required.

Vertical Clamping: The mold closes vertically and holds the insert in the required position during injection. The clamping force is selected according to the mold and product requirements.

Horizontal Injection: Plasticized material enters the mold from the side through the horizontal injection unit. Injection conditions are set according to the resin, mold and product.

Part Removal: After filling, holding and cooling, the mold opens and the finished part is removed before the next cycle.

Insert Molding & Overmolding Capability

Metal Insert Molding: The machine is suitable for molding thermoplastic material around terminals, pins, bushings, threaded inserts and stamped metal components.

Cable Overmolding: Cables and wires can be positioned directly on the lower mold before closing, supporting connector, plug and strain-relief production.

Fixture-Controlled Positioning: Application-specific fixtures can hold inserts in a defined position during mold closing and injection when product geometry requires repeatable placement.

Application Review: Insert dimensions, product weight, material, mold size and production volume should be reviewed before confirming the machine configuration.
